I wish you could have a relationship without money, and most importantly without talking about money. It would just make life so much more easier, no fighting no arguing, I think it would erradicate a lot of meaningless lovers tiffs.
Me and my boyfriend have this problem we both know exactly how much we both get per week, Which then makes spending the money uncomfortable. We get faced with questions like,
Why did you buy that sneaky doughnut before work instead of eating breakfast? HELLO BECAUSE I WANTED TO.
Why did you get a take away today? you know your wasting money? BECAUSE I FINISHED LATE AND WANTED IT.
Why did you buy the more expensive cigarettes and waste our money? (I don't smoke my boyfriend does)
If we both were completely oblivious to each others finances we wouldn't have to worry about having the answers to these questions. Yesterday for example I started the day with 150 Euro in my purse, by tonight i had 100. My boyfriends like where did 50 euro go?
Cough medicine, (still suffering from the flue)
Spot cream (Tea tree witch Hazel spot wand)
Cinema tickets
Bus ticket
Train tickets
Take away
2 work lunches
Face wipes
a bottle of coke
and maybe a bunch of other things i forgot
But in my opinion its my money its my problem if i spend it on a load of unneccary crap. You know how my parents deal with this crap? They both have separate bank accounts. They never explain what happened with there money. Thats the way I want to be one day. just like them. I pay for certain bills and my husband would pay for other bills and no questions would ever be asked. How do you guys deal with this? There has to be other easy solutions.

Whats in my make up bag?
I recently started an internship with a cosmetics distributor company. When I say recently I mean Tuesday this week. I will be the first one to admit that I am not exactly the most cosmetic savvy people around. I mean I usually wear very minimalistic make up. Basically just Foundation, Lip gloss, blusher. Occasionally I wear eye shaddow and I don't really like mascara because I wear contact lenses and sometimes I have to rub my eye and then that would mess up my mascara. @.@
I guess now that I am working for a cosmetic company I need to start caring more about my make up and appearance. Today the most embarassing thing happened :( Someone from the sales team said I look like a child. like 12 years old. Oh my god. like half my age so now i have decided its time for a complete make over. Its time to seriously consider updating my make up and make up bag.
Slowly but surely I am going to build up the perfect make up kit but before I start I will show you whats in my current bag and over time as I add new things I will update it here.
Bourjois Blusher
Revlon Colour Stay foundation
Rimmel longer lashes mascara
Bourjois silver eye shadow
Bourjois biio detox organic foundation
Benefit Blusher
Sally Hansen Lip gloss
Revlon lip stick
I was a Fake tanning virgin until Wednesday this week, I went to a St Tropez training event and learned about all the different products. Then on Thursday I recieved some free samples and yesterday I decided to try them out,
I tried the St Tropez Wash off self tan bronzing lotion and St Tropez perfect legs spray, but personally I still consider myself a fake tan virgin because I definitely need more practice!!!
For years I have clung on to my youth and never really wanted to look older like most girls, because I am not interested in smoking or drinking. So I never really needed to try to look older, but lately things have been slowly creeping up on me, I am kind of getting tired of people having disbelief about my age. I think its time for me to grow up and start looking my age. I said it to my boyfriend and he said he hates girls who wear to much make up and says don't wear any of that brown stuff (foundation) just stick with rosy cheeks and pink lips. But thats just juvenile.

No ticket to get in
On Thursday Night I attended the Smurfit Business Ball, but thrust me the road there was a bumpy and troublesome one, Firstly we had the problem of No room at the inn and then the next problem emerged on the night, No ticket to get in,
On Thursday I was basically rushed off my feet,
- Go to the Dry cleaning shop and collect my dress
- Go Bra shoping
Not just for the sake of it, I needed a strapless bra to go with my dress...
- Go to the hair salon
- Get my make up done
- Find the right shoes
- Get my clothes for tomorrow packed.
Just as we were about to leave my house I realized shit! I left my ticket in my boyfriends apartment... And my boyfriend was out with his friends in the city centre so I had to walk/run down the street in my long dress and in high heels, that i could barely walk in !
So I rushed up to the apartment and No Ticket to be seen! then i started frantically searching throwing books newspapers fliers everywhere. I still couldn't find it, and I left my phone in the car so I couldn't ring him
So in the end I went back to the car and rang up my boyfriend and asked/ accused him "Did you move my ticket?"Oops I think I threw it in the bin! Then I had a huge screaming fit... Whilst my mom tried to reassure me it doesn't matter come on.We were already running late I was suposed to be at the college before 5.30... and this was 5.15 and it takes a good 30 minutes to get to my college
Being worried about being late proved to be pointless as when I arrived there were still crowds of people waiting for the bus, and I met my friends and then they called 3 more seats on the bus. So we decided to go then the man said Tickets please!
OH SHIT! I explained to the man I had forgotten my ticket, I thought he would say OK go ahead... Wishful thinking, he said No we have a strict policy No Ticket No admission I'm sorry there is nothing I can do. Then more Panic and stress. The bus drove off without me...
Then I called my mom and told her. Then she came over and tried to talk to the man, and he even suggested to drive back to bray to collect it... Which obviously was impossible since my boyfriend had thrown it in the bin! She even asked could she buy another ticket for me, Bear in mind each ticket cost a whopping 70 euro. He still said no.
Then I had a stroke of extremely good luck, I noticed my cousin was working at the event. Hallelujah! then he came over and there was more conversing with the man. and then the man said OK don't tell anyone, Paul (my cousin) give her your ticket and I will look after you later...
THANKS BE TO GOD! i got on the next bus! Although I didn't get to sit with friends I was still delighted to be able to actually get on the bus.
Here's one from the night... I will tell more in my next post... when I get more photos from my friend and my camera.
